Mrs. Richard Morley, a beloved resident of Clinton Township and the Village of Beamsville for 30 years, passed away at her home Wednesday, January 24th, following an lengthy illness. Wife of Richard "Dick" Morley, a former Warden of Lincoln County, Mrs. Morley, the former Emma Westphal, was born in Hamilton 70 years ago.

She was a member of St. Alban's Anglican Church, and the Rebekah Lodge, and had always taken an active and keen interest in affairs in and around Beamsville.

Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Robert, of Hamilton; and one daughter, Mrs. Garnet Claus, of Ottawa; two sisters, Mrs. Stanley Brittain of Hamilton, and Mrs. Peter Kemps of Toronto. One brother, William, of Hamilton, also survives.

Impressive funeral services were held from St Alban's Church on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with interment in Queen's Lawn Cemetery, Grimsby. Rev. E.F. Maunsell officiated.

Casket bearers were: Carl Sears, Charles McGregor, Donald Smith, Winston Kennedy, Garnet Claus, Don Jory.
