Mrs. Bertha Johnson, beloved wife of Gordon Johnson, Main St. West, Grimsby, passed away at Hamilton General Hospital, Tuesday, January 9th. Deceased had been a resident of Grimsby for over a quarter of a century.

Besides her sorrowing husband, she is survived by one son, William F., Hamilton; a daughter, Mrs. Henry Windecker, St. Catharines; two brothers, James and Thomas; and two sisters, Mrs. Elzear Martell, Toronto, and Mrs. Ernie Huxley, Shelbourne.

A member of the L.O.B.A., No. 98, Hamilton, she was also an ardent member of the Gospel Hall. Rev. George Shivas conducted the service from the Stonehouse Funeral Home, Thursday, January 11. Interment was made in Queen's Lawn Cemetery.
