Miss Eliza Zimmerman died at her home, Ontario Street, Beamsville, on Friday, in her 84th year. Deceased was born at the Thirty, Clinton township, and lived nearly all her life here with the exception of some 15 years in Hamilton. She was a member of Knox United Church and Rev. A. DeRose conducted services for her Sunday afternoon at Buck's Funeral Home.

Interment was made in St. Andrew's cemetery, Grimsby. She is survived by the following nephews: George W. Zimmerman, Beamsville; Charles and Cecil Book, Grimsby; Edgar Book, Tisdale, Sask.; also Mrs. W.W.Casey, Port Colborne; Mrs. Sidney Minns, Wainfleet; and Mrs. Moote Fritzshaw, Tisdale, nieces. The bearers were : J.J. McCallum, W.J. Buchan, George Zimmerman, John Stewart, John Ryckman and H.A. Newton.
