Frederick William Rouse, of 33 Hixon Avenue, Hamilton, died on Thursday morning at the General Hospital, following a lengthy illness.

In his 73rd year, Mr. Rouse was a native of Caistor Township and had farmed there most of his life. He had lived in Hamilton since his retirement 4 years ago.

Besides his wife, the former Evelyn Bush (Minte), he leaves 4 sons, Alger and Norval, of Grimsby; Ivan, Stoney Creek; and Harold, of this city; a daughter, Mrs. Earl Theobald, Stoney Creek; 13 grandchildren; and 5 sisters, Mrs. Mary Lusk, of Buffalo; Mrs. Clara Waite, Caistor Township; Mrs. Frank Black, of St. Ann's; and Mrs. Venia Hayman and Mrs. Laura Reardon of Hamilton.
