William Edward Collison, of Grimsby, retired railwayman, died Saturday while working in the garden of his home.

In his 76th year, he was born at Atwood, Ontario, November 10, 1874, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Pearson Collison. For 27 years before retiring and moving to Grimsby in 1940 he had been employed by the Canadian Pacific Railway as a yardman at Fort William.

He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen. In religion, he was a member of the Trinity United Church, Grimsby.

Surviving besides his wife are 2 sons, W. Earl Collison, of Montreal, and John P. Collision, Dearborn, Michigan; also a sister, Mrs. William Rayner, Stratford.
