St. John's Presbyterian Church Manse was the scene of a quiet wedding on Friday, October 20th, when Miss Florence James became the bride of Mr. Alvin Hubbert of Barrie, son of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Hubbert of Barrie. Rev. J.P. McLeod officiated.

The bride wore a becoming grey suit with blue accessories and a corsage of roses. The bridesmaid, Miss Jean Durham of Grimsby Beach, wore a blue suit with matching accessories and a corsage of roses.

The groomsman was Mr. Ralph Keating of Barrie, brother-in-law of the groom.

A reception was held at the home of Mrs. Charles Durham, Grimsby Beach, after the ceremony.

After a wedding trip to Lansing, Michigan, the young couple will live in Barrie.
