The wedding was solemnized in Grimsby Baptist Church on Friday evening, October 20th, of Yvonne Isabelle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George R. Konkle, Grimsby, and Daniel Hector MacMillan, Wood Islands, P.E.I. The Rev. Charles Duncan officiated.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a street-length gown of gold velvet, with black velvet accessories, and carried a cascade of Queen Elizabeth roses.
Attending the bride was Mrs. Ray McPherson, in olive green velvet with black accessories and carrying apricot valencia 'mums. Mr. Ray McPherson was groomsman.
Miss G. Ormiston at the organ accompanied Mrs. Allan Grieve of Hamilton, who sang "I'll Walk Beside You" prior to the ceremony, and "Because" during the signing of the register.
A reception followed at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Groff, of Crescent Avenue, Beamsville.
After a motor trip to Ottawa and Eastern Ontario, the couple will make their home in Toronto.
