Mrs. James G. Hastings, a teacher of the Grimsby Public School, died Friday after an illness of several months at the Hamilton General Hospital.

She had lived at 9 Peachwood Place, Grimsby, coming to the town 2 years ago from Chatham.

She was a member of Trinity United Church, Grimsby, and the WA. She was the former Carmen Rachel Campbell.

Surviving besides her husband are two sons, Floyd Gary and James Richard, and a daughter, Susan Jayne, all at home.

The body rested at the Hunkin Funeral Home, Grimsby, for service Monday. A graveside ceremony was conducted at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham, on Tuesday.
