Francis Theoron Woolverton, last surviving member of a prominent Grimsby family, died on Friday last, at Brooklyn, N.Y.
A son of the late Dr. Theoron Woolverton, he left here as a young man and went to the United States where he entered the employ of the New York Telephone Co. He was filling a high executive position with that company when he retired a few years ago.
He had, for the last few years, been spending the summer months at Grimsby, and the winter in Florida.
Surviving are his wife, the former Lillie Selby, of Grimsby, and a son, William, of Niagara Falls, New York.
Funeral services were held at Brooklyn on Monday afternoon, after which the remains were cremated.
Burial service will be held at St. Andrew's Church on Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. Interment will be in St. Andrew's churchyard.
