In Vineland United Church, Friday, August 18th, the wedding took place of Norma, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Jarvis, of Grimsby, to Francis Albert Clark, son of Mrs. C. Clark of Hamilton and the late Mr. Clark, of Wheathampstead, Herts, England.
The Rev. H. Godfrey officiated, and Harold Jarvis, brother of the bride, sang.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a graceful gown of white Chantilly lace over white taffeta, her finger-tip veil being held in place by a Juliet cap of seed pearls. She carried pink pinocchio roses and fleurs d'amour.
Attending the bride were her sisters, Mrs. S.G. Schaef, of Ottawa as matron of honour, and Miss Gloria Jarvis, as bridesmaid. Their gowns were fashioned of powder blue Chantilly lace over white taffeta, and they carried bouquets of yellow Esther Reids and ivy, and wore matching head bands of flowers.
Mr. Charles Webb, of Burlington, was best man, and Messrs. Lloyd Jarvis and Leonard Clark ushered.
A small reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Jarvis, Aitchison Terrace, Grimsby.
The young people left on a motor trip to the east coast, and on their return will reside in Hamilton.
