An esteemed resident of the community passed away in the person of Olive A. Farewell, widow of the late W.A.Farewell in her 76th year. Born in England the late Mrs. Farewell came to Canada about 60 years ago and has lived in this district ever since. Death came on Monday following a lingering illness at her home, 20 Robinson Street North.

Surviving are two sons, Edward of Grimsby and James of Hamilton.

The funeral was held from her late residence on Wednesday at 2 p.m., interment being made in Queen's Lawn Cemetery.

The following were pallbearers: Edward, Kenneth and Marvin Farewell, grandsons, Frank Seaman, a nephew, William Post and Robert Johnson.
