Mrs. Augusta Duval died at her home, 3 Livingston Avenue, early Wednesday morning. She was born on Dec. 12th, 1857, and was in her 93rd year. She had lived in this district all her life and was the daughter of the late Levi and Mary (Cline) Beamer.
Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Herbert Glover, Fruitland; one son, Earl B. Duval, two grandsons, Gerald and Herbert, of Leskard, Ont., and a sister, Mrs. Ella Russ, Grimsby. Mrs. Duval was a member of St. John's Presbyterian Church.
The funeral service will be held from Stonehouse Funeral Home on Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with interment in Queen's Lawn Cemetery. Rev. J.P. McLeod will conduct the service.
Grimsby Independent 29 June 1950 - Funeral services were conducted from the Stonehouse Funeral Home last Friday for Mrs. Agusta [sic] Duval, with the ceremony being conducted by Rev. J.P. McLeod. Interment was made in Queen's Lawn Cemetery.
Casket bearers were Messrs. Harvey Walker, Roy Farrell, John Dick, Walter and Gilbert Scott and Victor Catton.
