On Saturday afternoon, at 4 o'clock, the wedding took place in Fifty United Church, Winona, of Eileen Joyce, daughter of Mrs. Maycock and the late Mr. Wilfred G. Maycock, Winona, and Ronald Leonard Beech, of Detroit, Mich., son of Mrs. Hugh Fraser, of St. Clair Shores, Mich. The Rev. G.E. Morrow officiated.
The bride, given in marriage by Mr. Gordon C. Maycock, her brother, was gowned in white embossed sheer over faille, with a shoulder-length veil held in place by a halo of lilies-of-the-valley. Her bouquet was also of lilies-of-the-valley and ivy. Mrs. Gordon C. Maycock wore an ankle-length frock of morning star blue, embossed sheer over taffeta, with headband and bouquet of candytuft. Mr. Jack Myers, of Leamington, was best man, and ushers were Mr. James Parker, of London, and Mr. William Smith, Jr., Jordan Station. Mr. G.O. Smith was at the organ, accompanying Mrs. Evelyn Going Webster, who sang.
About 20 guests were received afterward at El Rancho Casablanca. Leaving for a wedding trip to Washington, D.C., the bride wore a three-piece ensemble in aquamarine and pink with corsage of pink carnations. They will reside in Detroit.
