A pretty wedding took place in the Fifty United Church, Winona, on Saturday, May 27th, at 3:30 o'clock, when Georgina Marguerite, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Neil McDougall, Winona, became the bride of Mr. Harold McCallum, son of Mr. and Mrs. E.C. McCallum, Grimsby. The ceremony was performed by the minister, Rev. G.E.Morrow, the church being decorated with spring flowers for the occasion.

Mr. G.O. Smith presided at the organ and also accompanied the soloist, Mrs. G.O. Smith, who sang O Promise Me and All Joy Be Thine.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white Chantilly Lace, fashioned with a sweetheart neckline and long pointed sleeves, the full skirt extending into a short train. She wore a pearl necklace with matching earrings, a gift of the groom. Her matching lace headdress, trimmed with orange blossoms, held a very full fingertip length veil edged with lace. She carried pale yellow Pinnochio roses and lily of the valley.

Attending the bride as maid of honour was Miss Gloria Kopulos, of Winona, with Miss Edith Coker, Winona, and Miss Marion Honey, Grimsby, as bridesmaids. Their gowns of snowy white velvaray with bandings of frosty flowers, were slipped and sashed with taffeta in pastel shades of blue, pink and green respectively. Matching gloves and flowered headdresses completed their outfits. Each carried a colonial bouquet of pink Pinnochio roses, sweet peas and lily of the valley.

Mr. Morley McCallum, brother of the groom, was best man, the ushers being Mr. Jim Smith, of Grimsby, and Mr. George McDougall, Winona, brother of the bride.

A reception for 100 guests followed at El Rancho Casablanca. The mother of the bride received wearing navy blue French lace with pink and navy accessories and a corsage of Rapture roses. She was assisted by the mother of the groom who wore a powder blue faille outfit with navy accessories and corsage of Briarcliffe roses.

For her going away outfit the bride wore a powder blue gabardine suit with navy and white accessories and a corsage of gardenias.
