The death occurred in St. Michael's Hospital, Toronto, on Friday afternoon last of John Harold Nelles Drope, well known in this district.

Deceased was the eldest son of the late W.J. and Mrs. Drope, who were the founders of Lake Lodge School, which operated in Grimsby for many years.

During the First World War, he served in the Royal Air Force, and since that time has resided in Toronto. He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Edward Hull of Windsor.

Interment took place in St. Andrew's Churchyard on Saturday afternoon, with Rev. E.A.Brooks officiating.
