The death occurred Wednesday, Feb. 25, of a highly respected resident of Hamilton, in the person of Alfred Teeter, at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. G. Hammon, 280 Sanford avenue north. Deceased was 86 years of age and was well known in Grimsby. Surviving are three sons, Elgin and Emerson, of Hamilton, and Ambrose, of Pittsburg, Pa.; and three daughters, Mrs. T. Baley of Pittsburg; Mrs. Charles T. Farrell, of Grimsby, and Mrs. Hammon, of Hamilton. The funeral took place on Friday, Feb. 27, to Smithville. The Rev. Mr. Wilson had charge of the service at Hamilton, and the Rev. A.R. Coish, of the Methodist church, Smithville, had charge of the service at the grave. The pallbearers were Thomas Hannigan, C.T. Farrell, Emery Teeter, Frank Stewart, Leslie J. Farrell and R. Vance Farrell.
