A pretty wedding took place on Saturday, February 11th, in St. Andrew's Church, Grimsby, when the Rev. E.A.Brooks united in marriage Elizabeth, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Koethler of Vineland to James Hugh Robertson of Grimsby.
The bride looked very lovely in a white satin gown, the round neckline being of nylon and trimmed with seed pearls, a floor length veil with headdress of orange blossoms. She carried a bouquet of red roses and hyacinths.
Mrs. Audrey Atkinson, of Hamilton, was bridesmaid, gowned in rose taffeta and halo to match, and carrying a bouquet of pink tulips and blue hyacinths.
Little Judy Atkinson made a pretty flower girl, wearing a blue silk gown, a halo of pink and blue flowers, and carrying a colonial bouquet.
Mr. Harold Atkinson was best man, and Messrs. John Tillotson and Ted Robertson were ushers.
A reception was held at the home of Mrs. L.J. Hayes for 90 guests. Mrs. Koethler received in a gown of green taffeta, with corsage of pink roses. Mrs. Robertson wore a grey suit and her corsage was of red roses.
The bride and groom left on a short trip to the United States, and for the present will reside in Vineland.
Guests were present from Toronto, Burlington, Freeman, Hamilton, Winona, Beamsville, Vineland and Buffalo.
