Full Text

Mrs. Lillian Laundry, wife of Leonard Laundry and mother of Frank Laundry, Reeve of Beamsville, passed away suddenly at the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital on Saturday afternoon in her 76th year. Her son Frank had undergone a major operation on Thursday in the same hospital, and was convalescing there when his mother was brought in on Friday, suffering from a heart attack, which was thought to have been brought on from anxiety over her son's recent operation. She did not recover, and her death took place on Saturday. The deceased was born in Hastings County, and had been a resident here for the past 45 years. She was a member of Trinity United Church and a past president of the Women's Missionary Society. Her husband and son Frank are the only survivors.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 from the J.W. Buck and Son Funeral Home. Interment was made in Mount Osborne Cemetery, Beamsville.
