Suffering a seizure outside her home at 21 Murray Street, Mrs. Elizabeth (Betty) Marsh, wife of Fred Marsh, died shortly after admittance to West Lincoln Memorial Hospital Tuesday afternoon. Her sudden passing came as a shock to her great many friends in this area, in which she has resided for nearly 30 years.

Born in Bartonville, she came to Grimsby upon her marriage, where her husband, with his brother, the late Albert Marsh, operated the planing mill here for a number of years.

A member of Trinity United Church, deceased was an ardent worker in the church and with the Women's Association. She was also a valued and active member of the Lincoln Loyalist Chapter, I.O.D.E.

Besides her sorrowing husband, she is survived by a sister, Mrs. Ella Milne, Stoney Creek, and two brothers, Blake Cline of Aldershot and Charles Cline of Hamilton.

Resting at the Stonehouse Funeral Home, funeral services will be held from there at 2:30 Friday afternoon. Interment will be made in Queen's Lawn Cemetery.
