Impressive funeral services were conducted from Trinity United Church on Tuesday afternoon for John F. Glanville, who passed away Saturday, following a lengthy illness. Floral tributes were many, and the great number of friends and associates attending spoke highly of the esteem in which deceased was held.
Rev. A.L. Griffith conducted the service, both at the church and at Queen's Lawn Cemetery where interment was made.
Active bearers were L.V. Mitchell, St. John's, N.B.; A.C. Barbour, Winnipeg, Man.; R.B. MacLean, Port Credit; Gerald Daly, F.W.C. Irwin and Dr. R.C. Laird, all of Toronto.
Honorary bearers were Messrs. Earl J. Marsh, Stanley Globe, A.A. Constable, P.V. Smith, S.G. Bartlett and J.G. Stephenson.
Members of the Grimsby Lions Club formed a Guard of Honour during the ceremony.
