The death occurred on Sunday, Oct. 19th of Thomas L. Esson, at Port Sydney, Muskoka. The late Mr. Esson had spent most of his life in the village and was widely known in the district. He was born in Waterdown, Ont. in 1861 and spent his boyhood days in the vicinity of Grimsby, moving to Muskoka in 1877. He is survived by his widow, one son, Wilfrid of Toronto, one daughter, Mary, at home. He is also survived by three brothers and two sisters: Sarah (Mrs. Foster of Cambrai), Mary (Mrs. Clark of Markham), William of Port Sydney, John of Vancouver and George of Rochester.

The funeral was held on Tuesday, Oct. 21st and was largely attended.
