Albert Leslie Milmine, a former resident of Grassie, passed away on Sunday after a lingering illness at Gravenhurst, Ont. The late Mr. Milmine, who was in his 40th year, was formerly in the employ of the T.H.&B. railway in this district as operator, but latterly was station master at Bowmanville. About a year ago he became ill and was admitted to hospital at Gravenhurst, but failed to respond to treatment. The deceased was a member of the Bowmanville council; Bowmanville lodge A.F. & A.M., and Rameses Temple, Toronto, as well as an officer in the Odd Fellows. Left to mourn his demise are his widow and two children, Constance and George, all residents at Grassie; four brothers, W.S. of Stoney Creek, Lawrence of Hamilton, Ray and Kenneth at home, and one sister, Mrs. Lane of Silverdale.

The funeral is taking place this afternoon and will be in charge of Coronation lodge, A.F. & A.M., of Smithville, service being held at the family residence, Grassie, at 1:30 o'clock, and at the Smithville Presbyterian church at Smithville. Interment will be made in the church cemetery.
