Full Text

Wedding bells were ringing in St. Andrew's Church Wednesday afternoon, when Myrtle, the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Smith, Robinson street north, was united in marriage to Thomas, eldest son of John Newton, North Grimsby.

Rev. J. Allan Ballard, rector of the church, performed the ceremony.

The bride looked charming in a dress of smoked blue canton crepe. Her bridesmaid, Miss Jane Bentley, of Hamilton, wore a dress of sand crepe de chine. The best man was Victor Price of Hamilton. After the wedding ceremony the guests motored to the home of the groom's father, North Grimsby, where lunch was served on the spacious lawn, after which the happy couple left on the 6 o'clock train for Buffalo and New York. On their return they will take up their residence at Mimico.
