Full Text

The funeral of the late Mrs. Mary Grant Cloughley, wife of John Cloughley, section foreman on the H.G.& B. railway, took place from the family home, 35 Robinson street south, on Tuesday, Aug. 26, to the family plot in The Fifty cemetery. The Rev. F.S. Milliken of St. John's Presbyterian Church performed the obsequies at the house and graveside, and the six stalwart sons of the deceased acted as pallbearers. The floral offerings were very numerous and beautiful, and were indicative of the number and esteem of her friends.

The surviving six sons and three daughters were all present at the funeral, Mrs. E.W. Brockbank of London, England, having arrived just a week before Mrs. Cloughley's death, and James E. of Tampa, Florida, arriving as the result of telegrams, on Monday evening.
