The death occurred in Hamilton General Hospital on Tuesday, Aug. 26, 1924, of Arthur Carleton (Barney) Farrell of Grimsby in his 39th year. Mr. Farrell had suffered for some time with chronic appendicitis and on Thursday last went to the hospital for an operation. The funeral will take place from his late home, 23 Ontario Street on Thursday, Aug. 28, at 2:30 p.m. to Queen's Lawn Cemetery and will be in charge of the I.O.O.F., the Rev, C.L. Poole conducting the church services at the house.
