The death took place in Hamilton hospital on Tuesday, July 29th of Frederick Parsonage, for many years a resident of North Grimsby and Grimsby.

The deceased was born in England and was 57 years old. He was highly respected by all who knew him, having lived here nearly all his life. He was not married but leaves three brothers, Arthur and Dave of Grimsby; Edwin of Fenwick, and two sisters, Mrs. James Watts of Grimsby, and Mrs. Joseph James of Beamsville.

The deceased spent most of his life at Grimsby Center. The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon from G.A. Payne & Son's undertaking parlors at 2 p.m. The service was conducted by the Rev. Mr. Poole of the Methodist church, the pallbearers being Alfred Blanchard, George Douglas, Charles Book, Fred Walker, Robert Walker and Amos Fisher. The burial took place at Queen's Lawn Cemetery.
