The death occurred in St. Catharines Saturday morning of William Nettleship, member of the firm of Brown and Nettleship, monumental works, who passed away following an illness of a month's duration.

The deceased moved from Grimsby to St. Catharines 4 years ago, establishing the monumental works with Mr. Brown on Queenston street, near the present Welland canal. During his short residence he had become well and favorably known and his death will be learned with sincere regret by a wide circle of friends. He was a member of the St. Paul Street Church.

He is survived by his wife and two children, Ralph and Sylvia, both at home; three brothers and one sister, Ernest, Arthur and Harold, of Montreal, and Mrs. Orme Deacon of London, Ont.; also his mother, Mrs. Charles Nettleship of London. The funeral was held on Tuesday afternoon from his late home, Queenston Road, to Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
