At 5 o'clock this afternoon, at the home of the bride's parents. Beamsville, the wedding took place of Gladys Clarice, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Culp, to Mr. Merrill F. Thompson, of Medina, N.Y., son of Mr. and Mrs. J.R. Thompson, of Beamsville.

75 guests were present, and the ceremony was conducted by Rev. George Smith. The house decorations were carried out in pink and white blossoms. The bride, who was unattended, was given away by her father, and looked very dainty in a frock of powder blue crepe, with hat and shoes to match. She carried Sunset roses and lilies of the valley. During the signing of the register, Mrs. McCauley, leader of the choir, of which the bride is a member, sang By Your Side. Mrs. Loggie (Dunnville) played the wedding music. After the ceremony, a reception was held. The bride's mother was gowned in gray canton crepe with corsage bouquet of pink and white sweet peas. The honeymoon will be spent in the west, the bride travelling in a wrap of gray with shoes to match. Mr. and Mrs. Thompson will reside in Medina.
