George Eli Lampman, life-long resident of Caistor Township, died at his home on Monday following a long illness.

In his 63rd year, he had lived all his life on the farm on which he was born on February 24, 1887. A veteran of the First World War, he went overseas with the Central Ontario Regiment. He was a member of Abingdon United Church.

Besides his wife, the former Mary Jane Hyland, he is survived by two stepsons, William G. Richardson and Clarence A. Richardson, both of Hamilton; his mother, Mrs. John E. Lampman, of Caistor; also three brothers and three sisters, Gilbert and Coral Lampman, of Caistor; Ray Lampman, Grimsby; Mrs. Elva Kersten and Mrs. F.W. Meyers, of Detroit, and Mrs. Muriel Sheldrick, of Hamilton; and one grandchild.
