George Sunley, resident of Grimsby for the last 28 years, died at his home Friday, in his 83rd year.
A son of the late John and Mary Sunley, he was born in Eramosa Township, near Rockwood, on April 11, 1867, and had farmed until moving to Grimsby. He was an adherent to Trinity United Church.
His wife predeceased him in January of this year.
Surviving are three daughters, Miss Lois Sunley, at home; Mrs. George M. Loty, of Elora, and Mr. D.H. Hunt, R.R.1, Guelph.
Remains rested at the Stonehouse Funeral Home, where services were conducted on Monday afternoon by Rev. A. Leonard Griffith.
