Mrs. Edna G. Ogilvy, formerly of Moose Jaw, Sask., where she was in charge of the Saskatchewan government meteorological bureau for a number of years, died suddenly on Saturday at the home of her sister, Mrs. Beresford Scott, Park Road, Grimsby Beach, while visiting there.
In her 64th year, she was the former Edna Sutherland, and was born in Ottawa. Her husband, James G. Ogilvy, died 20 years ago. She has resided at Moose Jaw since 1913.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. George Townsend of Regina, and Mrs. H.F. Bailey of Victoria, B.C.; also two brothers, Brigadier Ronald D. Sutherland, of Toronto, and E.N.Sutherland, of New Westminster, B.C., and her sister, Mrs. Beresford Scott.
Two sons, James and Stuart, lost their lives while serving with the R.C.A.F. in the last war.
Service was held at the Stonehouse Funeral Home on Monday afternoon, the Rev. E.A.Brooks officiating. Interment will be made in Rosedale Cemetery, Moose Jaw, this Thursday afternoon, Following service at the Bellamy Funeral Home.
