Robert H. Kemp, 28 Hyde Park avenue, Hamilton, died Monday night, after an illness of two weeks. Mr. Kemp was born in Clinton Township 66 years ago, and resided in Grimsby for many years, moving to Hamilton 4 years ago. He was a member of the C.O.F. at Grimsby and for 15 years was a member of North Grimsby school board, No. 1, and acted as secretary. In politics he was a Conservative, and took an active part in elections.

Left to mourn his death, besides his wife, are two sons, Major Fred G. Kemp, D.S.O., M.C., of Powasson, Ont., and Charles E., at home, and one daughter, Mrs. H.J. Drew, of Oshawa, Ont.; and two brothers, Edwin Kemp, of Edmonton, Alta., and Rev. Chester C. Kemp, of Bad Axe, Mich. The funeral will take place from his late residence on Thursday afternoon at 1 o'clock. Interment at Mount Osborne Cemetery, Beamsville.
