Frederick George Reiss, of Grimsby, died at his home last Thursday,after a brief illness. In his 86th year, he was born in Montreal on June 4, 1864. He had resided in Hamilton for many years before moving to Grimsby 20 years ago to take up fruit farming. He was a member of St. John's Presbyterian Church.

Surviving, besides his wife, are three sons, Edward of Hamilton; William of Detroit, and Frederick at Grimsby; also three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Remains rested at his late home until Saturday afternoon when funeral service was held in St. John's Presbyterian Church. Interment was made in Hamilton Cemetery on Sat. June 25 at 2 p.m.

Pallbearers were John Dick, Charles Mason, William Sangster, William Schwab, Walter Clarke and Lloyd Smith.
