Charles Edgar Filby, the only son of the late William and Mrs. Filby, passed away at the home of his mother, on Mountain Road, North Grimsby, on Saturday, April 12th, 1924, at the age of 44 years, after a brief illness.

The late Edgar Filby had lived at Grimsby for the past 30 years, having been born in South Grimsby township near Grimsby Centre.

He is survived by his mother and two sisters, Mrs. John Disher, of Niagara Falls, Ont., and Mrs. A. Jacobs.

The funeral took place on Tuesday to Queen's Lawn Cemetery, service being conducted by the Rev. F.S. Milliken, assisted by the Rev. Thos. E. Richards.
