Mrs. W.F. Clarke, who has been in declining health for some time, passed away in Hamilton, on Thursday, April 3rd, at the age of 71 years.

The late Mrs. Clarke had been a resident of Grimsby for over 50 years and was greatly loved and respected by all who knew her.

For many years she was more or less an invalid, being confined to her home for many years with rheumatism.

Before her marriage, she was Miss Mary Boughner, of Beamsville. For the past two years she had been a resident of Simcoe and Hamilton.

She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Robert H. Kemp and Mrs. Edward Kemp, of Hamilton. Her husband, the well known W.F. Clarke, many years reeve of Grimsby, predeceased her 5 years.

The funeral took place on Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the Baptist Church, Grimsby, to Queen's Lawn Cemetery, service being conducted by the Rev. T.E.Richards.

Relatives from outside points who were present were Mr. and Mrs. Robert H. Kemp and Charles Kemp of Hamilton; Mrs. H. Drew, of Oshawa; and Fred, Harry and Andrew Clarke, of Toronto.
