George W. Tinlin, one of the esteemed residents of Clinton township, and the clerk of its council for over 35 years, passed away at his home very suddenly on Monday evening while sitting at his desk. Deceased was also secretary-treasurer of the Clinton Mutual Fire Insurance Co. He took an active interest in the affairs of the Disciple church for many years. His widow, one son, George, at home, and Mrs. J.H. Beatty, a sister, in Lethbridge, survive.
