On May 30th, 1899, in McNab Street Presbyterian Church, Hamilton, W.H. McClure and Elizabeth Jane Bowyer were united in the Holy Bonds of Matrimony by Rev. Dr. Fletcher. This happy union has been blessed with 5 sons and 2 daughters, of whom 4 sons and one daughter are living, they being Thomas William and Robert J. of Hamilton; George Douglas of Toronto, and Charles A. of Sudbury, and Mrs. James Braid of Grimsby. There are 11 grandchildren. Mr. and Mrs. McClure lived most of their married life in Mount Hamilton, where Mr. McClure conducted a bakery business, retiring in 1939, moving to Grimsby in 1945. The happy couple will be at home to their family and many friends at the home of their daughter, 30 Nelles Boulevard, on Saturday, May 28th, from 3 until 5:30 in the afternoon.
