The marriage was solemnized in St. Mary's Catholic Ukrainian Church, Grimsby, on Saturday, Feb. 26th, at 11 o'clock, of Olga, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Buchko, of Winnipeg, and Walter Mazur, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alex. Mazur, 108 Livingston Ave. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Father Romanovich, Father Dachck, Father Katir.
The bride, gowned in white satin with long train, and carrying red roses, was given in marriage by her uncle, Mr. B. Buchko of Grimsby. She was attended by Misses Patricia Mazur, Olga Kremko, wearing light green gowns; and Olga Delay, gowned in blue. Patsy and Joan Bongo,nieces of the groom, were the flowers girls and wore long blue gowns. Bridesmaids and flower girls carried bouquets of pink carnations.
The ushers were Joe Buchko, Matthew Laba, George LaBuick and Jerry Harplan.
Following the reception held at 11 o'clock in St. Mary's Hall, the bridal party left for Hamilton where photographs were taken. On their return dinner was served in the Hall. Two hundred guests were present, including Mrs. A. Bongo, sister of the groom, from Edmonton, and other relatives from Pittsburg, Buffalo and Toronto. Dancing and other entertainment followed until late in the evening, with music supplied by Johnny Pansion's orchestra.
Mr. and Mrs. Mazur left on a wedding trip to Florida on Monday morning, the bride wearing a green outfit with green accessories.
The wedding music was furnished by Johnny Pansion's orchestra, with Miss Olga Apostol as soloist.
