William Andrew Jacobs, of Fruitland, died Saturday morning at his residence there, aged 77 years.

Mr. Jacobs, who was born in Grimsby, had lived in Fruitland for 25 years; during which time he was employed by the E.D.Smith Co. He was a member of Fruitland United Church.

Surviving are his wife, Minnie Travis Jacobs; a son, Norman, Fruitland; three daughters, Mrs. Leslie Glover, city; Mrs. Wilfred Vickers, Grimsby, and Mrs. Charles Boden, Stoney Creek; a brother, Arthur, Smithville; two sisters, Mrs. William Game and Mrs. Joseph Walker, Grimsby; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
