The death occurred in Hamilton General Hospital on Sunday, January 28th of Miss Cecily Alice Munson, after a long illness.

Deceased lady was born in London, England, and came to Grimsby 34 years ago to make her home with the late Mr. and Mrs. Ambrose Pettit and later with their daughters, Mrs. Amber Wolfenden, Mrs. Ruby Powell and Mrs. Charles Wright.

She was loved and will be deeply mourned by her family and a large circle of friends in the district.

Remains rested at the Stonehouse Funeral Home until 2 o'clock on Tuesday, when the funeral was held to St. Andrew's church where service was conducted by Rev. E.A. Brooks. Interment was in Queen's Lawn Cemetery.

Casket bearers were Archibald, William and Albert Chivers, Fred Case, Edward Sullivan and George Hildreth.
