At 4:15 Thursday afternoon the wedding took place of Mame, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Woon, Erie Avenue, Hamilton, to Leslie O. House, of Beamsville. The ceremony was conducted in St. Johns Church, with Rev. W.M. Kannawin officiating. The bride was smartly costumed in champagne-colored georgette, trimmed with blue velvet flowers, poke hat of brown velvet with ostrich feathers, a brown marvella coat and fox fur, the latter the gift of the groom. She wore a corsage bouquet of butterfly roses. Miss Dorothy Sawdye and Mr. Charles Woon were the attendants. After the reception, at which immediate friends were present, at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. House left for a wedding trip to New York, Atlantic City and Hartford, Conn. They will make their home in Toronto.
