Fairview Farm, the home of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Laidman, in Binbrook, was the scene of a pretty wedding on Thursday, September 27, when their only daughter, Muriel Joy, was united in marriage to Mr. Joseph Lorne Hilts, of Grimsby, by Rev. Wm. J. Fiddies, Ph.D.

The bride was given away by her father, and was charmingly attired in white silk canton crepe and bridal veil. Miss Ruby Shields, cousin of the bride, was bridesmaid, and little Miss Hilts, niece of the groom, was flower girl. Mr. Cecil Hilts, brother of the groom, was groomsman.

Miss Hilts, of Merritton, sang O Promise Me while the register was being signed. A reception followed the ceremony.

The bridal couple left for their wedding trip early in the evening, and on their return will reside in Grimsby.
