Mrs. Robert Muir, resident of Grimsby for the last 25 years, died last Wednesday at the home of her son, William G. Muir, in Toronto, following a lingering illness.
In her 85th year, she was born in Scotland on December 26, 1863. With her husband, who predeceased her 7 years ago, she came to Canada 39 years ago and resided in Toronto for 13 years before coming to Grimsby.
Remains rested at the Stonehouse Funeral Home, where funeral services were held on Friday afternoon by the Salvation Army.
Interment was made in Queen's Lawn Cemetery.
Casket bearers were Graham R. Muir, James W. Muir, Howard Woodburn, Roy McCaughey, Andrew Henderson, John Hurd.
