Beamsville, Sept. 7 - Sandy Wismer, a highly respected citizen, passed away on Monday morning in his 83rd year. He had been confined to his home for several years. He was a carriage painter by trade. Born in Campden, he spent his early years in Beamsville, going to Dundas later. He came back here to retire from his trade some 25 years ago. He was an enthusiastic flower lover and did much to promote the interests of the local Horticultural Society, whose secretary he was for some years. He was active in church work, being an officer in the Old Methodist Church and then in the United Church. He was also a member of the choir. No near relatives survive.
