John Frederick McLelland, a native of Hamilton and a resident of Campbell's Corners, Aldershot, for many years, died Monday at the Hamilton General Hospital here. He was 55.

He was Anglican in religion and a gardener by trade.

Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Annie McLelland, of Grimsby; his widow, the former Freda Easterbrook; two sons, William and John, at home; one sister, Mrs. Charles de la Plante, of Grimsby Beach; and a brother, William J., of Toronto.
