Funeral services for James Scott, town employee, who passed suddenly away on Wednesday morning of last week, were held on Saturday afternoon from the Stonehouse Funeral Home. The last rites were attended by Mayor Harry Bull and members of the town council and other municipal officials as well as a large number of friends and acquaintances.

Services were conducted by Rev. H.J. Scott, of Beamsville Presbyterian Church. Interment was in Queen's Lawn Cemetery.

Casket bearers were six nephews: Ray and Robert Walker, Lloyd Mitchell, Mack Gowland, Jack and Donald Cummings.
