A very pretty home wedding took place on Saturday, January 16th, when Mary Adele, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Rosebrugh, Grimsby Beach, was married to Henry Arthur Harris, Rockwood, Ontario, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Harris. The ceremony was conducted by Rev. W.J. Watt, of Trinity United Church.
The bride, gowned in white satin, with long veil, and carrying pink roses and white carnations, was given away by her father. The bridesmaid, Miss Anna Rosebrugh, sister of the bride, wore a blue satin frock, and carried pink and white flowers. For the ceremony, the bridal couple stood beneath an evergreen arch hung with silver bells in the living room.
The bride's mother wore a becoming gown of delph blue crepe. Her flowers were pink carnations. A black crepe jacket dress with print blouse was worn by the groom's mother who carried a bouquet of pink, white and blue flowers, the whole making an attractive ensemble.
About 35 guests were present from Brantford, St. George, Galt, Toronto, Trenton, Rockwood and local points. After a brief wedding trip the young couple are now making their home in Rockwood.
The wedding music was provided by Miss Maisie Cullingford at the piano.
