Full Text

George Hill, senior, who died suddenly of heart trouble on November 29, was one of the last of the pioneer settlers of Binbrook township, and had, a few weeks before his death, celebrated his 80th birthday. He was a worthy representative of the fine old pioneer stock from which he sprung and a man much esteemed by all who knew him. Industrious and upright, he spent his long life on the farm which he helped to clear, his interests centering on his work and his home. He was not a public man in the general acceptance of the term, his church, his family circle and his work engaging his care. A kind husband, a loving father and a staunch friends, his family and his community will be the poorer by his passing.
