A resident of Grimsby for the last two years, Nelson Richardson died at his home, 2 Adelaide Street, on Wednesday afternoon last, in his 71st year.
Born in February,1877, near Stratford, in Perth county, he had lived nearly all his life in that district. He was in business as a merchant in Forest for 35 years prior to residing in Grimsby where he came on retiring.
Besides his wife, the former Mary Lane Elsley, he is survived by two sons, Maurice and Floyd, of Hamilton; a daughter, Mrs. Charles Burton; two brothers, Norman, of Hamilton, and Russell, of Stratford; also a sister, Mrs. James Sinclair, of Stratford.
Funeral services were held from his late residence, Adelaide Street, on Friday afternoon, with Rev. N. MacDonald of Hamilton officiating. Interment was in Queen's Lawn Cemetery.
Casket bearers were Norman Knapp, J.W. Elsley, M. Elsley, W. M. Lawson, Wellington Pinder and J.J. Graham.
