Full Text

A quiet but pretty wedding was solemnized in the Grimsby Baptist Church by the minister, Rev. Geo. A. McLean, at high noon on Saturday, December 6th, when Audrey V. Harrison, of Ingersoll, Ontario, became the wife of Clarence B. Woodman, also of Ingersoll.

The ceremony was a double ring ceremony. The bride was given away by her father, V.R. Harrison, and was attended by Mrs. Grant Markham, while the groom was supported by Mr. Grant Markham, all of whom are from Ingersoll. It was performed in the presence of immediate relatives of the contracting parties and after the happy young couple received the congratulations of their friends in a simple reception held in the church, the entire party of 14 enjoyed an excellent wedding repast at the Village Inn, which was served in the excellent style for which the Inn is noted.

The bridal couple left shortly afterwards on a wedding motor trip, bountifully showered, both with sincere good wishes of their friends and by plenty of confetti.

On their return, Mr. and Mrs. Woodman will take up residence in Ingersoll.
